A 82ª edição do Globo de Ouro, que homenageia os melhores filmes e séries de 2024, aconteceu neste domingo (5) nos Estados Unidos, dando o pontapé inicial na temporada de premiações. Fãs de cultura pop devem ficar de olho nas categorias, já que produções como Duna: Parte Dois, The Wild Robot e Wicked concorrem a diversas estatuetas.
Na área do cinema, Duna: Parte Dois disputa duas estatuetas, enquanto The Wild Robot e Wicked concorrem a quatro prêmios cada. O filme The Substance lidera as indicações, com cinco nomeações ao Globo de Ouro.

Já nas séries, The Penguin recebeu três indicações, incluindo Melhor Minissérie, Antologia ou Filme para Televisão, Melhor Ator em Minissérie para Colin Farrell e Melhor Atriz em Minissérie para Cristin Milioti. As séries Mr. & Mrs. Smith, do Prime Video, e True Detective: Night Country, da HBO, também foram indicadas a três prêmios cada. Shōgun, da FX, concorre em quatro categorias.
A atriz brasileira Fernanda Torres concorre ao prêmio de Melhor Atriz em Filme de Drama por seu papel em Ainda Estou Aqui. Ela disputa a estatueta com Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl), Angelina Jolie (Maria), Nicole Kidman (Babygirl), Tilda Swinton (The Room Next Door) e Kate Winslet (Lee).
Ainda Estou Aqui também está na disputa de Melhor Filme em Língua Não-Inglesa, concorrendo com produções como Tudo que Imaginamos como Luz, Emilia Pérez, The Girl with the Needle, The Seed of the Sacred Fig e Vermiglio. O filme, uma coprodução do Globoplay, é baseado na obra de Marcelo Rubens Paiva e narra a trajetória de Eunice Paiva, esposa do deputado Rubens Paiva, interpretado por Selton Mello.
O longa acompanha a luta de Eunice por justiça e explicações após o desaparecimento do marido durante a ditadura militar. A produção é a única representante da América Latina entre os 15 filmes pré-selecionados para concorrer ao Oscar de Melhor Filme Internacional. Selton Mello e o diretor Walter Salles também marcaram presença no evento.
